Antenatal care / high risk pregnancy

We look forward to accompanying you through the pregnancy, providing you with support, care and advice throughout the exciting journey to birth. We offer the following antenatal care examinations:

• Regular checks of urine, weight and blood pressure
• Depending on gestation, various blood test to determine blood group with antibodies, Rubella, Syphilis, HIV, Hepatitis B and repeated blood counts
• Chlamydia swab
• If requested: First Trimester Screening and NIPT (non-invasive prenatal test)
• Regular examination of the cervical length (with trans vaginal ultrasound) and vaginal discharge to identify sign of preterm labour
• CTG
• Ultrasound examinations including the control of foetal development, amniotic fluid volume, determination of abnormalities and observe position of baby within the womb
• Doppler ultrasound
